What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. If you have a dental emergency outside of these hours, please call our main number for guidance.

Do you offer Invisalign clear aligners?

Do you offer same-day emergency dental care?

What is composite bonding?
Composite bonding is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment where tooth-coloured resin is applied and sculpted onto your teeth to correct chips, gaps, staining or uneven edges — often in a single visit with no drilling required.

Do you accept NHS patients?
Yes, Maypole Dental Surgery has been providing NHS dental care to the Birmingham community since 1952. We welcome both NHS and private patients. Please call us to check current NHS availability.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards. We also offer Denplan membership plans and flexible finance options to spread the cost of private treatment — please ask our reception team for details.
What is Denplan and how does it work?
Denplan is a dental payment plan where you pay a fixed monthly fee to cover the cost of your routine dental care (check-ups, hygiene appointments) and receive a contribution towards any emergency treatment you may need. It provides peace of mind and helps spread costs.
Do you offer finance for dental treatment?
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans to help make dental treatment more accessible. Whether you are considering dental implants, veneers or Invisalign, our team can discuss finance options during your consultation.

I am nervous about visiting the dentist — can you help?
Absolutely. We have been caring for anxious patients for over 70 years and understand that dental anxiety is very common. Our team takes a gentle, patient-centred approach, explains everything before we begin, and always works at your pace. Will treatment be painful?
We use modern anaesthetic techniques to ensure you are fully comfortable during any treatment. For most procedures you will feel no pain at all — just a brief sting from the local anaesthetic injection. We also offer breaks during longer appointments and encourage you to signal if you need to stop at any time.
